The short answer
We pick up anywhere across Greater Houston, from Katy and Cypress to The Woodlands, Pearland, League City, and Baytown, and each city has its own page with local routes, venues, and pickup notes. Suburban pickups are quoted on standard local rates. Routes that run more than about an hour's drive from our base point, such as Austin or College Station, add mileage and driver time.
A night out in Kingwood and a night out in Sugar Land look nothing alike: different freeways, different venues, different places a bus can wait. That is why every city below has its own guide. This page shows how the cities fit together and what changes when your trip crosses from one to another.
Where trips around Houston start
In our Houston inquiry data, about 72% of inquiries with a recorded city were associated with Houston itself, and the rest were spread across the surrounding cities. A recorded city shows where a trip was tied to, not where anyone lives, so a suburban group heading into town for the night can show up under Houston.
Inside the city, the preference for a party bus is strong: about 90% of Houston-city inquiries that named a vehicle mentioned one. That comes from a smaller sample of 67 inquiries, so read it as a lean. In a similar smaller sample of 66, the largest share of Houston-city groups (about 41%) was 11 to 20 riders, which is why we point most groups at the 20-passenger party bus or the 22-passenger party bus whichever city they start in.
Find your city
Cities are grouped by side of the metro, with the main roads each group uses. Each guide covers the venues, pickup spots, and routes that matter there, from Market Street in The Woodlands to the Kemah Boardwalk near League City.
West and southwest: Katy and Fort Bend
I-10, the Westpark Tollway, US-59, and the Grand Parkway.
North and northwest
I-45, TX-249, US-290, and the Hardy Toll Road.
Northeast and east
US-59 north, Lake Houston, and the ship channel side.
South and the Bay Area

How pricing works across the metro
A pickup in Cypress is not a long-distance trip. Suburban pickups are quoted on the same local rates as a pickup in Montrose, and every quote already includes the driver, fuel, local mileage, taxes, and driver gratuity. What changes the total is the vehicle, the date, the hours, and the length of the full route.
The data backs this up. About 48% of historical quotes tied to Houston itself fell between $1,000 and $1,499, almost the same share as the dataset as a whole. That is a smaller sample, and these are historical quotes, not current prices, but it suggests where you board does not move a quote much on its own. The Houston party bus cost guide explains what does.

Local details that save time on the night
Pickup spots a bus can use
Suburban pickups are usually at a house, and houses come with gates, cul-de-sacs, and HOA parking rules. Tell us the gate code and anything tight about the street. If the bus cannot turn around, the driver stages at the subdivision entrance or a nearby lot.
Route order beats speed
Stops are unlimited inside your hours, but a route that crosses I-10 and I-45 twice spends the night on the freeway. Send the stops in any order and we will sequence them by direction. Allow ten to fifteen minutes per stop for a full group to load, and use the hours planner to check the total.
Venues with their own rules
Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, and the stadiums downtown all have set drop-off and pickup areas, and the exit after a show is where time disappears. Our concert transportation guide covers meeting the bus after the encore.
Longer trips across Texas
Trips to Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, College Station, or Beaumont are charters, priced with mileage and driver time. Any day that runs past about 12 hours needs a second driver or driver lodging, and for a long ride a coach or shuttle with forward-facing seats is usually more comfortable than a party bus. The Texas trips guide covers multi-day plans.
Galveston sits in between. The beach, the Strand, and the cruise terminals are close enough for a day, but the round trip eats into your hours. About 11% of inquiries that gave a duration asked for seven or eight hours, the full-day length that Galveston days, wedding days, and out-of-town games tend to need. Our Galveston beach trip guide shows how to spend a full day.
