The short version
Party Bus In Houston is Beaumont's party bus and limo company. We run Lamar University game days and graduations, Ford Park concerts and fair nights, downtown theater evenings, and West Brook and Beaumont United proms, plus multi-town pickups across the Golden Triangle. Quotes are all-inclusive, and longer runs such as Lake Charles, or Houston when the route goes beyond our standard one-hour area, include the extra drive time upfront.
The line out of the Ford Park lot after a show moves at its own pace. Anyone who has sat in it at eleven, then dropped a friend in Nederland and another in Lumberton before finally pulling into their own driveway, knows the real cost of a Beaumont night isn't the ticket. It's the hour of driving stitched around it, and the four cars' worth of parking near campus before that. That's the job we take off your hands.
Half of what we do here isn't really a Beaumont trip at all. It's a Triangle trip, with friends scattered across three towns and one bus pulling them together.
Cardinal Saturdays and the campus runs nobody enjoys parking for
Lamar sits on the southeast side along MLK Parkway and Florida Avenue, with football at Provost Umphrey Stadium and basketball at the Montagne Center, both right on campus. You know what the lots and side streets look like two hours before kickoff. A bus lets your whole group step off near the gates, then goes and parks somewhere it isn't in anybody's way, and the driver is waiting at an agreed spot when you walk out. Lamar University posts the schedule and the game-day parking plan each season.
Commencement is the weekend that really tests a family. Relatives drive in from all over Southeast Texas and Louisiana, and one shuttle from the hotel to the ceremony and on to dinner spares everyone the parking scramble and the who-rides-with-who conversation. Our graduation page gets into dinner timing and photo stops.
A few things student groups ask about, so they're not a surprise: somebody 21 or older signs the contract, the seat count on the vehicle is the seat count, and only riders 21 and up can drink. If anyone younger is on board, that's allowed only with a parent or legal guardian riding along. The Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum is on campus too, and visiting families use it as an easy photo stop.
The 26-passenger bus suits a Lamar game-day tailgate group.
Dinner, a show, and a nightcap without moving the car
Downtown gives you a real night out in a few blocks: the restored Jefferson Theatre, the Julie Rogers Theatre, and the Beaumont Event Centre down by the Neches, with places to eat in between. The grid helps. It's kinder to a long vehicle than most old downtowns, though on a big event night you'll still walk to a side street for the pickup.
Because nothing's more than a few minutes apart, a four-hour Friday or Saturday block is genuinely enough here. If it's an anniversary or a date night for six or eight, a 10-passenger limousine looks and works better at a theater entrance than a bus does. Our party bus vs limo guide spells out where each one wins.
Ford Park, where the hard part is getting out
Ford Park off I-10 on the west side takes the arena concerts, the rodeos and the family shows, and every spring the YMBL South Texas State Fair sets up there for about two weeks of carnival rides, livestock and music.
Getting in is easy — the lots are wide open. It's the crawl onto the frontage road after a sold-out show that ruins the mood. So the driver drops you near the entrance, stages out in the lot, and meets you where you agreed before the doors opened. Across our Houston-region inquiry data, about 4% of inquiries with an event type were for a concert, and there's a plain reason behind that small share: nobody remembers the opening act, but everybody remembers sitting in a parking lot. The concert transportation page walks through the pickup routine.
Arena nights are about the exit afterward, not the drive there.Party buses polls: what would you do?

When your guest list lives in four towns
A fortieth birthday around here rarely starts at one address. Friends are in Port Neches, Nederland, Lumberton and the West End, and a quinceañera court can come from Beaumont and Port Arthur both. Stops don't cost anything extra inside your booked hours, so the bus can absolutely go get everyone — just know that each house runs 10 to 15 minutes by the time the last person finds their shoes. Five addresses can eat an hour before the night has started.
Two things that keep that honest:
- Pick one hub. A single house, or a shopping-center lot off US-69 or I-10, and everybody boards there.
- Split the ends. Gather together at the start, then drop the Port Arthur riders first on the way home, since the bus is already pointed that way.
Two directions on I-10, two very different days
The big trips out of here go opposite ways on the same freeway. These are typical times from central Beaumont.
| Destination | Distance (approx.) | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| Ford Park | 5 miles | 10–15 min |
| Port Arthur | 20 miles | 25–30 min |
| Orange | 25 miles | 25–30 min |
| Lake Charles casinos | 60 miles | 55–70 min |
| Baytown | 55 miles | 50–60 min |
| Downtown Houston / NRG | 85 miles | 85–110 min |
That bottom row is the one to think hard about. A Texans game or a big arena show in Houston turns into a whole day, and I-10 across the San Jacinto River bridge can add real time on a Sunday. Heading the other way, our casino trip page lays out how a day at the tables gets planned, and the Baytown page covers the stretch of freeway in the middle.
Region-wide, about 34% of inquiries that named a duration asked for five to six hours. From here, that's a Ford Park show with dinner first, or a long downtown night with a second stop. A Lake Charles or Houston day needs more once you count both drives.
What West Brook and United parents ask us in March
Beaumont ISD's two big schools, West Brook and Beaumont United, hold prom in the spring, and the districts around you from Nederland to Lumberton pick their own dates. Here's the shape of it: a spring Saturday in March, April or May comes with a six-hour minimum, the contract goes in the name of a parent or guardian who's 21 or older, and with no parent or guardian riding, the bus is dry for everyone. Large backpacks stay at the house.
Most families settle on one house for photos and board there, which is easier on everybody than six separate driveways. If the dance is in Beaumont and the after-party is down in Port Arthur, say so when you book so the hours actually cover it. Our prom page runs through the whole evening, and how early to book explains why those spring Saturdays disappear first.
Picking a size, and what past quotes looked like
There are no Beaumont-only figures in our records. Regionally, about 30% of recorded historical quotes fell between $300 and $999 — generally shorter blocks, smaller vehicles or weeknights. A dinner-and-show evening downtown or a straight run to a Ford Park concert is that kind of trip. Houston and Lake Charles days use more hours and more road, so they land higher. Those are past quotes, not today's prices.
If you're 20 to 26 people, the 26-passenger party bus handles most Lamar groups and most birthdays. For a big trip to a Houston game, a 56-passenger charter coach and its forward-facing seats are far kinder over 90 minutes each way.

Everything's in the quote — vehicle, driver, fuel, local mileage, taxes, the driver's gratuity, unlimited stops, plus ice and bottled water. Half up front holds your date, and the rest comes due somewhere in the week or two ahead of the event. Friday and Saturday evenings start at four hours.
Runs around Beaumont, Port Arthur, Nederland and Orange are short ones. Our standard area reaches about an hour's drive from our base, and Lake Charles is a long-distance trip outright, while Baytown or Houston gets quoted that way whenever the route carries the vehicle past that hour — with the extra drive time written into the number rather than sprung on you later. Anything running past roughly 12 hours needs a second driver or lodging for the driver, and you'll see that before you sign anything. Our Texas city-to-city guide covers the long runs in more depth.
